Countdown to Closure: Clubs Brace for Potential Shock Deals Before Transfer Window Ends

Only six days remaining in the January transfer window, clubs are rushing to finalize their business for the second half of the season. Notable moves include Billy Sharp returning to Hull City and Emmanuel Dennis going back to Watford on loan from Nottingham Forest. The window closes at 11pm on February 1, so there could be surprising deals before then.

In other news, Kalvin Phillips has no regrets leaving Leeds United for Manchester City despite his limited playing time there. Phillips is now set to join West Ham on loan. Meanwhile, Middlesbrough are expecting more bids for Morgan Rogers, who wants to join Aston Villa. Birmingham City receives a boost as Jay Stansfield is set to stay for the rest of the season and there’s speculation about Marc Bola returning to the Championship after a short stint in Turkey.
