Coventry City secured a 4-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in their FA Cup fourth rounds replay earning them a fifth rounds home tie against Maidstone United. After a 1-1 draw in the first half, Coventry dominated in the second half with Callum O’Hare scoring two goals in six minutes and Haji Wright adding a fourth.
Kasey Palmer had opened the scoring for Coventry in the second minute while Bailey-Tye Cadamarteri equalized for Sheffield Wednesday. The result extended Wednesday’s winless streak to seven games.
Coventry manager Mark Robins praised his team’s performance while Wednesday manager Danny Rohl acknowledged the basic mistakes made by his team.
