Cristiano Ronaldo is facing a potential investigation for allegedly making an obscene gesture after a Saudi Pro League match between Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab. Ronaldo’s team won 3-2 with him scoring a penalty but he seemed irked by fans chanting Lionel Messi’s name.
The gesture towards the crowd has prompted an investigation by the Saudi football federation. In his second season in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo continues to be a prolific goal-scorer leading the league’s scoring charts with 22 goals in 20 appearances. Despite his contributions, Al-Nassr is four points behind the league leaders Al-Hilal.
