Crystal Palace has swiftly appointed Oliver Glasner as their new manager following Roy Hodgson’s resignation. The 49 years old Austrian formerly with Eintracht Frankfurt will lead the team until the end of the 2025/26 campaign. Palace Chairman Steve Parish praised Glasner’s outstanding record and described him as the right manager to take the club forward.

Hodgson who reached his 200th game as Palace boss recently resigned citing recent circumstances and health concerns. Assistant coaches Paddy McCarthy and Ray Lewington will manage the team against Everton. Hodgson’s departure marks the end of an era with Palace sitting 16th in the table.
