Crystal Palace Supporters Divided: Poll Reveals Opinions on Hodgson’s Exit

Crystal Palace fan and podcaster Chris Hambling expressed relief about Roy Hodgson’s departure acknowledging Hodgson’s past success but feeling it was time for a change due to recent struggles. Hambling mentioned the impact of Patrick Vieira’s comments about younger players and the team’s overall direction.

Despite sadness about Hodgson’s illness there’s a sense of moving on and appreciating his six seasons tenure. The poll results showed varied opinions with 34% viewing Hodgson as a club legend who had to leave, 13% thinking it was time for a change and 3% pleased with his departure. The remaining responses had mixed sentiments.
