Dahmen jokingly blamed his caddie, Geno Bonnalie, for the birdie miss, citing a misread. Despite the frustration, Dahmen acknowledged that the outcome came down to all his shots throughout the rounds. He humorously mentioned deserving 17 dinners from the players who benefited from his closing par.

With a chance to compete for the Sony Open title, those at 2-under, including Hideki Matsuyama, Corey Conners, Eric Cole, Denny McCarthy, and Michael Kim, now find themselves seven strokes behind the 36-hole leader.
