Debut Delight: Littler’s Nine-Darter Highlights Win in Wigan

On his debut in Wigan, Luke Littler won a Players Championship event securing an 8-7 victory over Ryan Searle in the final. Littler impressed with a nine-darter during the tournament and narrowly missed a second in the last 16. This marked his second nine-darter of the season

The 17 years journey included notable wins and a thrilling final leg decider against Alan Soutar. Littler expressed ambitions to qualify for the World Matchplay and Grand Prix after earning a £15,000 winner’s prize. His success adds to previous achievements including reaching the Dutch Darts Masters final and performing well in the Premier League.

Littler’s focus now shifts to upcoming events including another Players Championship and the Premier League Darts in Glasgow. The young talent aims to build on his early success and solidify his presence in the competitive darts scene.
