Dedicated Immanuel Feyi-Waboso Puts Studies First, Misses England Training Camp

Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will miss England’s training camp in York this week to prioritize his medical studies and attend an exam at Exeter University in person. The 21 years old winger made a notable 19 minutes appearance against Scotland scoring his first England try.

Despite his absence this week, England coach Steve Borthwick has been impressed with Feyi-Waboso’s dedication to both rugby and studies. Tom Pearson replaces the injured Ben Curry in the squad while Marcus Smith and Alex Mitchell join for injury rehab.

England is hopeful that Smith and Mitchell may be available for the upcoming matches against Ireland and France in the Six Nations.
