Dens Park has been deemed fit to host Dundee match against Rangers after passing a pitch inspection. St Johnstone’s McDiarmid Park was on standby but is no longer needed. Rangers had accused Dundee of negligence after last week postponement due to a waterlogged pitch.

However, with favorable weather forecasts and consultations with pitch experts, the game is set to proceed as planned. Both teams express relief at finally being able to play the match after multiple postponements. The SPFL ensured regular assessments of the pitch condition and appointed consultants to guide decisions.

Dundee worked diligently to prepare the pitch despite previous postponements this season. Rangers criticized Dundee handling of the situation, citing repeated breaches of SPFL rules.
