Jurgen Klopp is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season and his next potential job is gaining attention. Despite Klopp expressing a desire for a break from football, the German Football Association (DFB) reportedly plans to offer him the role of national coach from March 2025.
Julian Nagelsmann is expected to step down after the 2024 European Championships opening the door for Klopp. The DFB hopes Klopp will be recharged and ready to lead Germany to the 2026 World Cup. Former Reds midfielder Dietmar Hamann supports Klopp’s potential appointment endorsing the idea of Sandro Wagner and Hannes Wolf as temporary solutions in the interim.
Klopp currently holds a 61.3% win percentage with Liverpool.
