England has made a single change to their team for the final Test against India in Dharamshala bringing back fast bowler Mark Wood in place of Ollie Robinson. The alteration comes after England’s defeat in the fourth Test which saw India secure an unassailable 3-1 series lead.
Despite considering Test debutant Gus Atkinson, England maintains two spinners Tom Hartley and Shoaib Bashir. Both Bashir and Robinson who missed practice due to an upset stomach are expected to play. Jonny Bairstow will mark his 100th Test match and James Anderson is two wickets away from reaching 700.
England captain Ben Stokes expressed confidence in the team’s balance with two seamers and two spinners for the challenging conditions in Dharamshala.
