Divock Origi's Potential Move to MLS Amid Struggles at Nottingham Forest
FootBall | January 20, 2024
The 26-year-old, known for his impactful contributions during his eight-year spell at Liverpool.

Nottingham Forest’s loaned striker, Divock Origi, might be transferred to an MLS team in January, with his parent club open to the move due to his scoring struggles in the Premier League this season.

The Mirror reports that three Major League Soccer clubs are interested in the former Liverpool player, who is currently on loan from AC Milan at Nottingham Forest.

Origi has been unable to find the net since returning to the Premier League, and a potential move to the United States could provide a fresh start for the Belgian international.

Despite limited starts at the City Ground, a move to MLS might be the catalyst for reigniting his career. Origi’s time at Nottingham Forest stands in contrast to his successful tenure at Liverpool, where he became a beloved figure over eight years, known for scoring crucial goals, including memorable moments against Everton, Newcastle United, and Wolves.
