His agent, Ron Butler appeared to express dissatisfaction with Washington decision by liking critical posts on social media. While Daniels remains a favorite for the No. 2 pick there are indications that he has considered his options including the possibility of playing for the Las Vegas Raiders.
However, this scenario appears unlikely. The situation presents an unexpected challenge for Washington as they seek a new starting quarterback following the departure of Sam Howell. The Commanders are under the leadership of new head coach Dan Quinn and first-year general manager Adam Peters. The 2024 NFL Draft is scheduled to take place from April 25-27.
