Tony Docherty the manager of Dundee expressed “huge disappointment” after their game against Rangers was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch marking the fourth game at Dens Park called off this season due to heavy rainfall.
Docherty believed a delayed kick-off could have been an option stating that with more time the pitch could have been playable. Despite their desire to continue their strong home form, with three wins from their last four matches at Dens Park, Docherty respected the officials’ decision and acknowledged there was nothing they could do about it.
