England clinched a T20 series victory with a commanding 47 runs win over New Zealand in Wellington taking an unassailable lead in the series with one game remaining. Maia Bouchier brilliant 91 runs innings propelled England to a formidable total of 177-3 while spinner Charlie Dean took 4-26 to restrict New Zealand to 130-7 in reply.

Despite New Zealand sloppy fielding and the absence of captain Sophie Devine due to injury, England dominance was evident throughout the match. Bouchier stellar performance along with contributions from other players like Heather Knight and Nat Sciver-Brunt highlighted England depth and talent.

The victory underscored the disparity in class between the two teams with England showcasing their strength and adaptability in both batting and bowling. Despite Devine absence, New Zealand failed to capitalize on opportunities leading to a disappointing performance in the field.

However, Devine remained optimistic about the upcoming one-day internationals and emphasized the need for improvement in fielding to turn the tide in their favor.
