England faced a challenging day two of the second Test against India in Visakhapatnam as Jasprit Bumrah’s remarkable spell of reverse swing bowling rattled their middle order. Despite Zak Crawley’s impressive innings, England struggled against the onslaught ultimately being bowled out for 253. India led by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s double century gained a substantial first-innings lead of 143.

In their second innings, England found themselves facing a daunting task compounded by India’s aggressive batting leaving them with a deficit of 171 runs going into the next day. While England remains optimistic about their chances acknowledging the brilliance of Jaiswal and Bumrah they recognize the uphill battle ahead.

Bumrah reflecting on his performance expressed his lifelong dream of playing Test cricket while Crawley emphasized England’s belief in their ability to mount a comeback. Former England bowler Steven Finn praised Bumrah’s exceptional skills and acknowledged the challenge he poses to opposing batters.
