Emily Scarratt and Zoe Harrison make a return from long-term injuries to the England Women Six Nations squad, along with Bristol lock Abbie Ward who returns after giving birth. The 35-woman squad includes uncapped players Maddie Feaunati and Lizzie Hanlon of Exeter Chiefs and Vicky Laflin of Trailfinders.

Poppy Cleall despite serving a two-match ban for using foul language towards a referee is included. Head coach John Mitchell emphasizes the need for a quicker playing style and Marlie Packer continues as England captain. Sydney Gregson could make her first appearance in nine years.
