Euro 2024: Germany Clinch Confidence-Boosting Win Over Netherlands

Germany continued their preparations for Euro 2024 with a victory over the Netherlands boosting their confidence ahead of the tournament. After defeating France 2-0, Germany staged a comeback against the Dutch in Frankfurt with Niclas Fullkrug late goal securing the win.

Despite initially trailing to Joey Veerman early strike, Germany equalized through Maximilian Mittelstadt. The victory marked Germany first consecutive wins under coach Julian Nagelsmann. The Euro 2024 finals will commence on June 14 with Germany facing Scotland in Group A which also includes Hungary and Switzerland.

The Netherlands, drawn in Group D alongside Poland, Austria and France made several changes for the match. The tournament will culminate with the final at Berlin Olympiastadion on July 14.
