Proposed Everton owners, 777 Partners have progressed closer to acquiring the club with the receipt of a letter from the Premier League indicating a favorable stance towards the takeover, albeit pending certain conditions. The deal, initiated with majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri last September awaits full approval subject to stringent criteria and oversight.

777 Partners already backing the club financially, anticipate their investment to reach £200m by April. The group, known for their involvement in multiple football clubs is set to finalize the transaction pending approvals from relevant authorities.

Moshiri, expressing the changing landscape of football ownership, lauds 777 as ideal partners for Everton’s future emphasizing their commitment to maximizing commercial opportunities and financing the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

Joshua Wander of 777 Partners echoes this sentiment, pledging to uphold Everton’s legacy while prioritizing community engagement and infrastructure development.
