Excitement Builds as Cheltenham Festival Begins: Predictions and Surprises Unveiled

The Cheltenham Festival kicks off on Tuesday for a four days extravaganza featuring notable races and strong contenders from Willie Mullins’ stable. Marcus Townend of Mail Sport predicts winners, main challengers and potential surprises for each race.

Notable selections include Jeriko Du Reponet in the 1:30pm race, Quilixios in the Arkle Novices’ Chase at 2:10pm and State Man in the Champion Hurdle at 3:30pm. Lossiemouth is highlighted in the Mares’ Hurdle at 4:10pm while Lark in the Mornin is favored in the Boodles Handicap Hurdle at 4:50pm.

The National Hunt Novices’ Chase at 5:30pm features Embassy Gardens as a top pick. Additionally, The Wizard of Odds provides further insights into favored picks for each race.
