Liverpool has announced the production of a TV documentary series offering a behind the scenes look at the final months of Jurgen Klopp’s tenure as manager. The multi-episode series currently in filming will be aired after the conclusion of the season. As Premier League leaders competing on multiple fronts Liverpool’s journey in the Carabao Cup final, FA Cup fifth round and Europa League knockout stages will be documented.
While the platform for airing the series is yet to be confirmed, Klopp expressed his desire to provide viewers with insight into the club’s inner workings and the people behind its success. This initiative follows previous documentary ventures by clubs like Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham.
Drew Crisp, Liverpool’s senior vice president of digital highlighted the unique nature of the documentary promising an authentic portrayal of the club’s history, connection with fans and success both on and off the pitch.
