FAM President Vows Action Against Poison-Pen Letter Allegations

Despite a poison-pen letter circulating, accusing the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) of misconduct, President Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin remains steadfast condemning it as an effort to tarnish the organization’s reputation. Hamidin pledges legal action, including filing a police report and enlisting the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission’s (MCMC) help in tracking down the email’s source.

An internal probe will follow with repercussions for implicated staff. Addressing claims of financial mismanagement, Hamidin assures adherence to established procedures, promising to submit a report to the FAM integrity committee led by Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat.

Dismissing speculation about national team coach Kim Pan-gon resigning after recent losses, Hamidin stresses unity in confronting challenges. FAM Secretary-General Datuk Noor Azman Rahman refrains from commenting on the letter but extends forgiveness to the perpetrators opting for a dignified response to the allegations.
