Following the first two races of the season in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia teams have begun to understand their cars, albeit with varying degrees of progress. Ferrari has emerged as the second-fastest team behind Red Bull with their SF24 showing notable improvements over its predecessor particularly in terms of aerodynamics and chassis design.
The car features a rethought chassis, different cooling system packaging and refined suspension geometry. Despite these advancements, weaknesses such as slow tyre warm-up have been identified requiring further development to close the gap to Red Bull’s RB20.
