Figure skating legends Torvill and Dean have announced their final dance together after 50 years of skating. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of their iconic gold medal winning Bolero performance in Sarajevo the duo revealed their 28 days farewell tour, “Torvill & Dean: Our Last Dance,” set for 2025.
The Nottingham pair, marking their golden anniversary expressed nostalgia and excitement about the tour emphasizing it as a celebration of their illustrious careers. The tour will include performances in their hometown concluding in Glasgow.
Torvill and Dean made history with their Valentine’s Day Bolero in 1984 scoring perfect 6.0s and becoming enduring figure skating icons. They plan to recreate the Bolero during their Sarajevo visit commemorating their historic win.
