Nottingham Forest’s captain Joe Worrall has moved to Turkish side Besiktas on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Currently, Besiktas third in the Super Lig holds the option to make the transfer permanent. Worrall (27) a product of Forest’s academy has made 226 appearances for the club since joining in 2011.
Despite his significant role in Forest’s promotion in 2022 he has struggled for playing time this season featuring only nine times. Forest expressed their well wishes for Worrall in a statement.
