Former Tennis Star Maria Sharapova Makes Head-Turning Appearance in Paris

Tennis icon Maria Sharapova made a striking appearance at Paris Fashion Week showcasing a stylish all-black ensemble. The former Wimbledon champion known for defeating Serena Williams at age 17 in 2004 has transitioned into a post-tennis career focused on business and fashion.

Sharapova (36) attended a Valentino event in Paris flaunting an elegant look with a departure from her trademark blonde hair. Despite a successful career with five Grand Slam victories including the career Grand Slam, her legacy was marred by a 2016 failed drugs test resulting in a suspension later reduced to 15 months.

Sharapova officially retired in 2020, reflecting on her lifelong connection to tennis in an emotional farewell. Since retiring, she has embraced motherhood giving birth to a son named Theodore and is actively involved in various investments including stakes in sports brands and wellness tech ventures.
