Former World No. 1Andy Murray Brushes Off Retirement Talks, Eyes Qatar Open Return

Despite a recent six matchs losing streak and slipping to 50th in the ATP rankings former world No. 1 Andy Murray is determined to continue playing tennis. The 36 years old facing questions about retirement emphasized his autonomy in making decisions and expressed his commitment to the sport. 

Murray set to participate in the Qatar Open where he previously triumphed in 2008 and 2009 acknowledged his challenging start to the year but remains optimistic about returning to form.

He admitted the current phase has been a unique and difficult experience but is eager to learn and believes there’s better tennis within him that he aims to showcase.
