Fulham has reportedly secured the loan signing of Chelsea striker Armando Broja with the possibility of avoiding a loan fee if he meets certain playing time criteria. Manager Marco Silva in need of a striker on deadline day faced setbacks in deals for PSG Hugo Ekitike and Borussia Dortmund’s Sebastien Haller.
Broja who started for Chelsea in a recent win against Fulham could make his debut against Burnley. The arrival is timely as Raul Jimenez, Fulham’s main striker suffered a hamstring injury and will be sidelined for weeks.
Additionally, Fulham faces challenges with injuries to Adama Traore, Harry Wilson and Issa Diop. Silva expressed uncertainty about Jimenez’s recovery timeframe.
