Bukayo Saka the 22 years old Arsenal winger has withdrawn from the England squad due to injury ahead of their friendlies against Brazil and Belgium. Saka was unable to participate in training after reporting for international duty and has returned to Arsenal for rehabilitation.
His absence is a setback for England manager Gareth Southgate especially with only two more matches scheduled before Euro 2024. Despite this setback, no replacements are planned for the 25-man squad. Saka has been in impressive form for Arsenal this season, scoring 16 goals and has become a key player for both club and country since his debut in 2020.
