Gareth Southgate Respects Ben White Decision, Remains Open to Future Inclusion

England manager Gareth Southgate has stated that while the “door is open” for Ben White, he isn’t planning to call him up ahead of the Euro. White decision to not join the squad for the March get-together, despite Arsenal intervention with the FA, has left his international future uncertain.

Southgate respects White decision but remains open to his inclusion in future squads. Declan Rice expressed hope of persuading White to reconsider, emphasizing his talent and character. Meanwhile, England defender Harry Maguire highlighted the honor of representing one’s country, contrasting it with White decision.

In recent matches, England drew with Belgium after a late equalizer from Jude Bellingham, following a loss to Brazil.
