Gary Neville Applauds Ratcliffe’s Impact on Manchester United Amid Swift Changes

Gary Neville former Manchester United captain believes that Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s swift changes at the club highlight the issues he previously expressed with the Glazer family. Ratcliffe recently acquired a 25 percent stake in United making significant moves including the appointment of CEO Omar Berrada and pursuing Newcastle sporting director Dan Ashworth.

Neville emphasized the previous lack of footballing structure under the Glazers applauding Ratcliffe’s actions. Despite the Glazers still being owners Ratcliffe is taking charge of football matters bringing positive changes. Manchester United’s recent on-field performance has also improved with four consecutive wins since Ratcliffe’s arrival announcement.

Manager Erik ten Hag sees the takeover as highly ambitious and supportive of the club’s project. Neville commended the rapid changes made under Ratcliffe’s influence contrasting them with the previous stagnation under the Glazers.
