Jack Grealish experienced distress as he was subbed off in the first half of Manchester City’s FA Cup match against Luton due to another injury setback. The English international who has struggled with groin issues this season had been deemed fit to start.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola had previously called for Grealish to improve his form emphasizing the need for higher performance levels. Despite City’s control of the game with a 2-0 lead, Grealish’s early substitution marked a setback for the player.
Luton managed to score before half-time and both teams are vying for a spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
