Guerreiro’s Goal Seals Bayern Munich’s 1-0 Win Over Union Berlin

Bayern Munich secured a 1-0 home victory against Union Berlin in their rescheduled Bundesliga match on Wednesday. This win helped them recover from their recent loss to Werder Bremen and narrow the gap at the top of the Bundesliga to four points. The match was initially postponed in December due to heavy snowfall in Munich. Bayern started strongly with Union Berlin goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow making crucial saves early on. Despite dominating possession, Bayern struggled to convert their chances in the first half. However, Raphaël Guerreiro broke the deadlock shortly after halftime scoring from a rebound. Union Berlin offered little threat throughout the game and their coach, Nenad Bjelica was sent off for pushing Bayern’s Leroy Sané. With this victory, Bayern moved up to second place in the Bundesliga standings, trailing leaders Leverkusen by four points.
