Colchester United scheduled League Two home game against Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the JobServe Community Stadium. An inspection conducted at 08:00 GMT confirmed the unplayable condition of the playing surface with little chance of improvement expected amid forecasts of heavy rain.
The club has yet to announce a new date for the fixture. Additionally, several matches in the National League including FC Halifax Town vs. Oldham, Bromley vs. Wealdstone, Barnet vs. Eastleigh and Maidenhead vs. Hartlepool have also been called off due to waterlogging.
