Heavyweight Chaos Looms: Fury Plans for Rematch, Ngannou Seeks Redemption

Tyson Fury asserts his focus on facing Oleksandr Usyk before a potential rematch and subsequent bout against the winner of Anthony Joshua’s clash with Francis Ngannou. Fury who will meet Usyk on May 18 aims for a two fights deal with Usyk this year.

Turki Al-Sheikh chair of General Authority for Entertainment in Saudi Arabia hinted at a title shot for the winner of Fury-Usyk rematch against the victor of Joshua-Ngannou. Fury emphasizes the risks in heavyweight boxing for Joshua and Ngannou criticizes Fury, labeling him a ‘coward.’

The upcoming Joshua-Ngannou fight set for Friday is seen as a crucial test. Fury acknowledges Ngannou’s power but criticizes his ungrateful attitude despite the significant payday from their previous bout. Fury praises Ngannou’s resilience in their first fight.

Ngannou’s changed demeanor raises concern with observers noting a shift in focus and determination. The fight is scheduled for March 8 on Sky Sports Box Office.
