Hideki Matsuyama’s Epic Sunday Charge Makes History at Riviera

The caddie recovery center equipped with technology to ensure caddies’ wellbeing also garnered attention. Patrick Cantlay maintained his impressive form on Saturday securing a one shot lead for the final round. Xander Schauffele his close friend joined him in the final pairing after a solid 65.

On Sunday, Hideki Matsuyama stole the spotlight with a remarkable charge posting a final round 62 and securing victory by three strokes. With this win, Matsuyama became the most successful Asian-born player in PGA Tour history.
