As the FIA experiences a series of departures, FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem has confirmed the exit of two high-ranking executives from the legal department. This follows the earlier departure of FIA sporting director Steve Nielsen and technical director Tim Goss.

Now, governance and regulatory director Pierre Ketterer and head of commercial legal affairs Edward Floydd both integral to Formula 1’s Concorde Agreement negotiations have also left. Ketterer is set to join the International Olympic Committee while Floydd’s next steps remain undisclosed.

The FIA describes these changes as part of a “large-scale transformation” that includes restructuring and new appointments to adapt to future needs.
