The Denver Broncos have parted ways with quarterback Russell Wilson just two years after a significant trade that was one of the most valuable in NFL history. Wilson formerly with the Seattle Seahawks for 10 seasons including a Super Bowl victory in 2014 was released after winning only 11 of 30 games with the Broncos.
Despite high hopes for Wilson as a long-term successor to Peyton Manning, the team struggled leading to changes in coaching staff. The Broncos express gratitude for Wilson contributions and focus on building a stronger team for the upcoming 2024 season. The team holds the 12th overall pick in this year draft.
