Iga Swiatek has solidified her position as World No. 1 after winning the Doha title surpassing 10,000 ranking points for the first time in nearly 11 months. This marked her 28th career week with 10,000 or more points.

Swiatek the first woman to win the Doha title three times consecutively has also achieved a three peats at any WTA event since Serena Williams in 2015.

Karolina Pliskova’s run to the Doha semifinals propelled her from No. 59 to No. 36 in the rankings. Erika Andreeva entered the Top 100 after qualifying and reaching the second round in Doha joining her sister Mirra.
