On day two of the fifth Test between India and England in Dharamsala, Shoaib Bashir continued his impressive Test career start taking 4-170. However, India dominated the day reaching 473-5 with a lead of 255 runs. Skipper Rohit Sharma (103) and Shubman Gill (110) contributed significantly to India’s total.
England’s Ben Stokes and James Anderson broke key partnerships but half-centuries from Sarfaraz Khan and Devdutt Padikkal bolstered India. Bashir claimed two wickets after tea but India maintained control. England bowled out for 218 faces a challenging task to counter India’s lead in the remaining days.
