Manchester United Raphael Varane will be out for a few weeks due to a muscle injury suffered during recent matches against Brentford and Chelsea. He’ll miss upcoming games against Bournemouth, Coventry City in the FA Cup and matches against Sheffield United and Burnley.
Jonny Evans is also out for the Bournemouth game with a muscle issue. With limited options in defense, Willy Kambwala and Harry Maguire will likely continue in central defense. Both Varane and Evans are nearing the end of their contracts with United yet to decide on renewals.
Updates on Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford injuries are expected from manager Erik ten Hag. McTominay missed the Liverpool game while Rashford was injured during the match and neither were seen in Wednesday training session.
