Richie Gray and Luke Crosbie will be sidelined for the remainder of Scotland’s Six Nations campaign due to injuries sustained in the team’s opening win against Wales. Gray has a bicep injury while Crosbie has a shoulder problem. Full back Blair Kinghorn is also expected to miss the upcoming match against France due to a knee issue.
However, Grant Gilchrist is set to return from suspension and could replace Gray. Darcy Graham is still absent from the squad due to a quadricep injury but is expected to resume training with Edinburgh soon. Co-captain Rory Darge who missed the Wales game is likely to be fit for the match against France. Head coach Gregor Townsend has additional back row options in Jack Dempsey and Andy Christie.
