Isaiah Thomas a seasoned NBA player may make his return to the league after two years. The 35 years old is reportedly set to sign a 10 days contract with the Phoenix Suns according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Thomas last played in the NBA for the Charlotte Hornets in April 2022 concluding a series of short stints with the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Hornets all starting with 10 days contracts.
Recently, Thomas showcased his skills with the Salt Lake City Stars the G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz averaging 32.5 points in four games. His remarkable performance of scoring 34 points in a recent game highlighted his determination for an NBA comeback.
Thomas’ NBA journey has been marked by challenges including a hip injury sustained during his tenure with the Boston Celtics in 2017 which affected his speed and led to subsequent team changes with the Wizards, Nuggets and Pelicans. Despite setbacks, Thomas remains determined to continue pursuing his passion for basketball.
