Jabeur Secures Victory as Raducanu’s Comeback Continues

Emma Raducanu’s quest for a quarter-final spot in the Abu Dhabi Open was halted by world No. 6 Ons Jabeur who secured a 6-4, 6-1 victory. Raducanu on her comeback after wrist and ankle surgery faced a tough challenge against Jabeur the Wimbledon runner-up in the previous two years.

Despite a spirited fight in the opening set, Raducanu couldn’t overcome Jabeur’s dominance showcasing her opponent’s powerful game. Jabeur praised Raducanu’s talent and career expressing admiration for the young player. The defeat marks Raducanu’s early exit, but her progress post-surgery is viewed positively.
