Former Aston Villa player Jack Grealish expressed gratitude toward his ex-teammate after watching Aston Villa defeat Arsenal indirectly aiding Manchester City Premier League title bid. City benefited from unexpected defeats by both Arsenal and Liverpool, giving them a two-point lead at the top of the table. Grealish who joined City from Villa in 2021, acknowledged Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins’ role in City title push.

Watkins who scored in Villa victory over Arsenal received praise from Grealish on social media.
