Meanwhile, Danielle Collins displayed powerful play in her 6-3, 6-2 victory over Caroline Garcia setting up a semi-final showdown with Ekaterina Alexandrova. Victoria Azarenka and Elena Rybakina also secured hard-fought victories to reach the semi-finals. Azarenka defeated Yulia Putintseva 7-6 (4), 1-6, 6-3, while Rybakina outlasted Maria Sakkari 7-5, 6-7 (4), 6-4.
