Jess Park showcased an exceptional performance as Manchester City defeated rivals Manchester United, keeping their Women’s Super League title aspirations alive. Park (22)  scored twice and assisted one goal for Khadija Shaw, propelling City three points clear of Chelsea at the top of the table.

United’s hopes of Champions League qualification suffered a blow as they now trail Arsenal by six points. Despite a spirited effort, United couldn’t recover from City’s dominance with Shaw becoming City’s all-time leading WSL scorer.

Park’s standout display, witnessed by England manager Sarina Wiegman highlighted her emergence as a top talent. City’s victory underscores their bid for a first WSL title since 2016 while United faces a challenging season.
