Jesse Lingard the former Manchester United forward has officially joined South Korean club FC Seoul on a two-year deal with the option for a further year. The 31 years old who remained a free agent since leaving Nottingham Forest last summer sought new opportunities after parting ways with his agents earlier this month.

Lingard’s notable stint at West Ham in 2021 where he scored nine goals in 16 appearances preceded his move to FC Seoul. Over his distinguished career, Lingard secured titles including the Europa League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup during his time at Manchester United making 232 appearances for the club.

Despite frustrations with contract offers post-Forest exit, Lingard is now set for a new chapter in South Korea after a potential move to Al Ettifaq in October fell through.
