John Doolan the first-team coach for Accrington Stanley has been appointed as the interim manager following the departure of John Coleman. Coleman left after a 4-0 defeat at Wrexham with Doolan taking over temporarily. The 55 years old who has been with the club since June 2017 expressed his commitment to doing the best job possible.
Doolan part of the management team that secured the League Two title in 2018 will lead the team in the Lancashire FA Senior Cup semi-final against Burnley before focusing on the upcoming league match against Bradford City. The club did not specify the duration of Doolan interim role.
