Joshua vs. Ngannou: Heavyweight Clash Creates Resilience Speculation

Francis Ngannou predicts that Anthony Joshua won’t recover if knocked down by him similar to his explosive knockdown of Tyson Fury in their previous bout. The Joshua-Ngannou heavyweight clash is set for March 8 marking Ngannou’s second professional boxing bout.

In his debut, Ngannou stunned the world by dropping Fury but lost in a split decision. Ngannou expresses doubt about Joshua’s resilience suggesting Fury is one of the most resistant fighters. Joshua on a three-bout winning streak responds that many have knocked Fury down, and he’s not surprised by Ngannou’s comment. Ngannou requested the fight emphasizing the opportunity to face a top-tier opponent in his second boxing match.

The undercard features Joseph Parker against Zhilei Zhang who previously defeated Joe Joyce.
